Norway's largest spirits producer (descended from the 1922 Norwegian state alcohol monopoly Vinmonopolet's industrial arm). Linie Aquavit is the famous brand — sea-aged in sherry casks that travel twice across the equator on cargo ships (the 'linje' = the Equator line). The motion + temperature variation supposedly accelerates maturation. Merged with Finnish Altia in 2021 to form Anora Group.
