Founded 1987 by John Teeling (father of Jack and Stephen Teeling, who later founded Teeling Distillery in Dublin). Acquired by Beam Suntory in 2011. Connemara is the iconic peated Irish single malt — a rare style for Ireland (most Irish whiskey is unpeated).
