Originally founded 1872, mothballed 1925, rebuilt and revived in 2004 by Springbank's Mitchell family. Bottled under the Kilkerran brand (rather than Glengyle) because a different brand — 'Glen Gyle' — was being used by a separate independent bottler. First production releases from 2007.
