Estate distillery on a 90-acre Columbia County farm. Grain-to-glass operation with on-site malting floor (one of very few in the U.S.). Pioneered the U.S. solera-aged bourbon category — Hillrock Solera Aged Bourbon was the first American bourbon released using the Spanish solera blending technique. Master Distiller Dave Pickerell (formerly of Maker's Mark, deceased 2018) shaped the early portfolio.
