Founded 1999 by Todd and Scott Leopold. One of very few American distilleries with on-site floor malting (along with Hillrock and Coppersea). In 2015 commissioned a 3-chamber pot still, the first commercial use of this Maryland-tradition design since Prohibition — used for the iconic Leopold Bros Three Chamber Rye. Also produces gin (the famous Navy Strength + American Small Batch + Summer/Winter), American Whiskey, and a wide cordial portfolio.
