Built 2017 on the site of Lindores Abbey — the location of the very first known historical reference to Scotch whisky distilling (a 1494 Exchequer Roll entry recording 'Eight bolls of malt to Friar John Cor wherewith to make aquavitae'). The McKenzie Smith family revived distilling on the historical site after a 500+ year gap.
