Founded by Allen Katz, Tom Potter (Brooklyn Brewery co-founder) and Bill Potter. Originally in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; relocated production to Port Chester in 2022. One of the four founding signatories of the Empire Rye standard. Best known for Ragtime Rye (the canonical Empire Rye) and the Dorothy Parker / Perry's Tot gin pair. Allen Katz also runs The Shanty cocktail bar adjacent to the original Brooklyn distillery.
