Founded 2005 by 9 friends. Denmark's first single malt distillery. Floor maltings on-site (rare in modern whisky production) — uses Danish-grown barley + rye. Direct-fired stills (one of very few in the world still using this old methodology). Famous Stauning Rye is one of the very few European rye whiskies.
