Founded 1889. Yellow bitter aperitif made from gentian root (Gentiana lutea) sourced from the Auvergne and Jura mountains. Famously yellow — Picasso painted it (Glass and Bottle of Suze, 1912). Used in the modern White Negroni cocktail.
