Founded 1892 by William Grant — sister distillery to Glenfiddich on the same estate. Notable for retaining traditional malting floors (one of very few Scottish distilleries still using floor maltings) and its own coppersmith and cooperage. Pioneered modern single-cask finishing with the DoubleWood (sherry cask finish) and PortWood (port cask finish) lines.
