First whiskey distillery in New York State since Prohibition. Founded by Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee on the site of an 18th-century grist mill. Pioneered small-barrel rapid maturation and 100% NY-grown grains. Acquired by William Grant & Sons in 2017 (Hudson Whiskey brand) but production remains at the original Gardiner site. The Hudson lineup is the most influential New York whiskey of the 21st-century revival.
