Two ladders of academic standing — both built around what you learn, not what you drink. Everything is free today; paid upgrades land in a future polish pass and unlock storage, verified credentials, and event-hosting privileges. Verified sommeliers bridge from the regular ladder via cert upload.
Regular ladder
Default starting point. Climbs as you log reflections, build vocabulary, explore new categories, and contribute to the public catalog. No certification required.

Bridges from the regular ladder when you upload a verified sommelier credential. WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, and equivalent are all accepted.
