Study Groups
Curated 3–6 spirit lineups, hosted live. Participants join with a single link, log structured responses per pour, and see the room’s aggregate rating + top flavor notes update in real time.
Step 1
Host creates the event
Pick a date, write a title, set the lineup (3–6 pours), optionally cap participants. Save as draft, publish when ready.
Step 2
Participants join
Share the join URL or QR. Anyone with an account can join. Optional anonymous toggle if they want to keep their responses off the live display.
Step 3
Live response + aggregate
Host clicks Start; the response form unlocks for participants. The host display polls every 5 seconds — avg rating, top flavor notes, vote count per pour.
What you get
Auto-mirror to Journal
Each response saves a parallel tasting in the participant's Journal so it counts toward Connoisseur, Globe Trotter, Cellar Master, and the leaderboard.
Blind tasting per pour
The host can flag any pour as blind — name + image hidden until reveal — without setting up a separate flight.
Anonymous participation
Opt-in flag at join time. Responses still count toward the participant's badges + Journal; only the live display anonymizes.
Study Group Scholar badge
Bronze through Obsidian for sessions joined: 1 / 5 / 25 / 50 / 75 / 100. The seminar table, the shared pour, the conversation.
